2008 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships

QUALIFIERS

° Rob Bailey (junior from Ogden Dunes, Ind./Portage HS), 3,000-meter Steeplechase (seeded 3rd among 16 entrants, 9:09.89) Note: Rob qualified for nationals on the last possible day with a school-record performance at the North Central Last Chance Invitational.  His time (9:09.89) bettered a 29-year-old record set by Mark Northuis who is now his distance coach at Hope.

° John Donkersloot (freshman from Zeeland/Zeeland East HS), High Jump (seeded 3rd among 18 entrants, 6-10 3/4).

° Nora Kuiper (junior from Parchment/Parchment HS), 100-meter Dash (seeded 11th among 20 entrants, :12.13)

° Lindsay Lange (senior from Manistee/Manistee HS), 100-meter Hurdles (seeded 11th among 20 entrants, :14.49) and Heptathlon (seeded 3rd among 18 entrants, 4,596 points) Note: Lange has been an NCAA All-American three consecutive years -- 7th in 400-meters in 2005, 3rd in heptathlon in 2006, and 4th in heptathlon in 2007.

° Christina Lis (junior from Novi/Novi HS), High Jump (seeded 2nd among 18 entrants, 5-7 1/4) Note: Was an All-American high jumper in 2007, finishing sixth.
