Women’s Chamber Choir to Perform April 20

The Women's Chamber Choir of Hope College will perform with Luminescence and 12th Street Harmony on Monday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

Previous publicity had listed the concert for a week earlier.

The program will include a set of varied psalm settings from the Renaissance to the 21st century, music about spring by Schumann and Telemann, and an inspiring set of pieces by Libby Larsen commissioned by the husband and brother of two women who died of breast cancer.  Accompanists for the performance are sophomore organist Leah Hottel, pianist Lannette Zylman-TenHave, and freshman violinist Jenna Buck.

The Women's Chamber Choir is directed by instructor and staff accompanist Jennifer Wolfe.  Wolf holds master's degrees in choral conducting and piano performance from Michigan State University and the University of Illinois. A native of Canada, she is married to Hope choral director Brad Richmond, and they have two young boys.

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church is located on the corner of 13th Street and Maple Avenue
