Hope to Host “Safe Halloween” at Maas Center on Oct. 31

Hope College will host a "Safe Halloween" for children, featuring carnival games and trick-or-treating in the MaasCenter, on Monday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

All children from the community age 12 and under from the community are invited to the free event, and no registration is necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and are asked to wear a costume.

The children will be invited to play a number of carnival games that will be set up in the Maas Center auditorium and/or trick-or-treat for candy at uniquely decorated booths in the conference room next door.  This year trick-or-treating will not occur in individual residence halls.

Children and parents are asked to enter the Maas Center from Columbia Avenue.  The Maas Center is located at 264 Columbia Ave., facing 11th Street.
