Hope College Orchestra to Perform on Nov. 16

The Hope College Orchestra will present its second concert of the 2012-13 school year on Friday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The event will feature faculty member Linda Strouf, harpsichord soloist.

The concert will open with the orchestra performing the overture to the “Marriage of Figaro,” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Following the overture, Strouf will be featured in the “Concert Champetre for Harpsichord and Orchestra,” by Francis Poulenc. The symphony will close the program with the “Variations (Enigma) for Orchestra,” by Edward Elgar.

Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., on College Avenue at 12th Street.
