Website Includes Five Faculty on Lists of Top-25 Professors

A total of five members of the Hope College faculty have been named to listings of the top-25 professors in Michigan in the fields of education and psychology by Statestats.org.

Named among the state’s top-25 professors in education are:  Nancy Cook, professor of education and director of student teaching, and Dr. Deborah Van Duinen, assistant professor of education.  Included among the state’s top-25 professors in psychology are:  Dr. Thomas Ludwig, who is the John Dirk Werkman Professor of Psychology; Dr. David Myers, professor of psychology; and Dr. Sonja Trent-Brown, associate professor of psychology.

The editorial and executive teams at Statestats.org developed the listings to recognize faculty who excelled in the classroom, on campus and in the community in 2012, and made selections based on recent awards, publications and other recognitions that signaled such excellence.  The listings, including brief biographical sketches and a photograph of each faculty member honored, are available at the organization’s partner site,  http://onlineschoolsmichigan.com/top-college-professors-in-michigan/
