Mark Noll is one of the most distinguished living scholars of American religious history and World Christianity; currently the Francis A. McAnaney Chair of History at the University of Notre Dame. Before arriving at Notre Dame in 2006, he taught at Wheaton College and has taught at Harvard Divinity School, the Divinity School at the University of Chicago and Regent College, Vancouver.
Noll has published 25 books including Jesus Christ and the Life of the Mind, The New Shape of World Christianity, God and Race in American Politics, The Civil War as a Theological Crisis and America's God, from Jonathan Edwards to Abraham Lincoln, and The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind. His public lecture is entitled "The Future of World Christianity" and is co-sponsored by the History and Religion Departments, the Center for Ministry Studies, the Emmaus Scholars Program and Campus Ministries.
