Current Exhibition:

In Habit

April 8 - May 8, 2011

Opening Reception: Friday, April 8, 2011
from 5-6 p.m.



Artwork by graduating studio art majors will be featured in the exhibition “Inhabit,” on display in the DePree Art Gallery from Friday, April 8, to
Sunday, May 8, 2011.

The exhibition “Inhabit” consists of work that seniors have been developing for the past four years at Hope College.

The reception is Friday, April 8 from 5-7 pm at the Depree Art Gallery, 160 East, 12th Street, Holland, MI 49423.

Senior art history majors Rebecca Bethard and Nicole Buccella will present their Art History papers on Wednesday, April 27, from 5-8 pm in Cook Auditorium. The public is invited to the exhibition, opening and reading. Admission is free.

“Inhabit” will include works by the following senior art majors: Chelsea Tarnas, Amy Devrou, Betsy Melchers, Leah Schreiber, Emily Otto, Jessica Early, Katie Schewe, Jilli Schuler, Sammy Shank, and Kellee Kortas.

Regular Gallery hours for the Academic Year are Monday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. The De Pree Art Center and Gallery is located at the corner of 12th Street and Columbia Avenue. Gallery hours may be reduced during breaks and holidays. The gallery is handicapped accessible.

Admission is free.
