Research Interests
My research focuses on the ways that motor neurons (including those involved in Parkinson’s disease) are susceptible to damage resulting from oxidative stress. I am interested in the specific effects peroxide has on intrinsic transporter activity and the trafficking of the transporter to the plasma membrane of dopaminergic neurons.
