Summer Science and More Camps 2013

Hope College is offering exciting opportunities this summer for students to explore the wonderful world of science and more. The programs will feature “hands-on” interactive investigations designed to teach scientific concepts in a FUN yet challenging way as well as hands-on, skill and technique building experiences in the non-science camps. Enrollment grade is the grade they will enter Fall ‘13. Registrations are not being accepted for scholarships at this time.

If you or your company are currently blessed and can help provide assistance for other families, your generosity would be greatly appreciated...100% of your donation will go to a camper in need. Hope College is a 501.c3 institution, so your contribution may be tax deductible at the Federal level and may also be a tax credit at the State level.

Camp Costs May Be Tax Deductible as an educational or child care expense.  Please contact your tax professional to determine if you are eligible.

The Snack Shack Is Back...There will be a snack break in the middle of each camp.  Campers may bring their own snacks or purchase from the Snack Shack!   Many healthy options are available.

Learn the basics of cartoon strip and panel development. Create characters, add expressions and learn inking techniques. A treasury will be assembled at the end of the class. Returnees will be challenged.

Get ready to explore what it takes to be a Secret Agent and learn the science of undercover intelligence.  Basic training covers the theory and practice of surveillance, night-vision, stealth, perception/awareness, coding, self-defense, and critical thinking.
