Summer Science and More Camps 2010

Hope College is offering exciting opportunities this summer for students to explore the wonderful world of science and more. The programs will feature “hands-on,” interactive investigations designed to teach scientific concepts in a FUN yet challenging way. A camper manual (for use in the camp) and a parent manual will be provided for each session. For more information, visit our website at www.hope.edu/camps/science.html. Scholarships: Gentex, thanks again for supporting families and science education in West Michigan. We currently have 50% scholarships available for sessions #34-49. Please provide the name, EMAIL ADDRESS nad phone number of a non-family member that can verify your need. (Please do not provide school teachers/administrators since school is no longer in session.) Only one scholarship per camper is available.

If You or Your Company Are Currently Blessed and can help provide assistance for other families, your generosity would be greatly appreciated...100% of your donation will go to a camper in need. Hope College is a 501.c3 institution & your contribution may be tax deductible at both the federal AND state level.

Lunch Hour Supervision is available from 12-1 Monday through Thursday. The cost is $12 per student per week. Campers MUST bring their own lunch. Call 616-395-7628.

The Snack Shack Is Back...There will be a snack break in the middle of each camp. Campers may bring their own snacks or purchase from the Snack Shack! Many healthy options are available.

Wonder what’s “inside the box” that makes things work? This camp will cover basic mechanics and electronics as we learn how computers, cameras, radios, remotes and cell phones work.
