Specialty Areas: Interpersonal Communication

After spending four years as an assistant professor in Hawai'i, Michigan native Dr. Jayson Dibble was thrilled to come back home and join the faculty at Hope in 2012. Dr. Dibble earned his B.S. (Biomedical Science) and M.A. (Communication) degrees from Western Michigan University, and his Ph.D. (Communication) came from Michigan State University. His current and recent projects focus on breaking bad news, alternative romantic relational configurations, sequential persuasion techniques, and parasocial relationships with media characters.
