Teresa Heinz Housel Family, Interests, and Travel Experiences
I am in my second year as a faculty member in the Hope College Department of Communication. You can find information about my research and professional journalism experience by clicking on the links below. I have many outside hobbies such as gardening, reading, watching films, cooking, crafts, playing and listening to music, and great conversation. My passions include local activism, women's issues, civil rights, green cleaning methods and slow food movement, voluntary simplicity, meditation, and journaling, to name just a few. My husband, Timothy, is a computer engineer in Grand Rapids. We have two cats (Copper and Nickel) that we inherited from my father in October 2005, many books (our house has two libraries), and we enjoy making our historic home more cozy.
