Facilities are essential for practical experience in communication. The communication department is housed in the state-of-the-art Martha Miller Center for Global Communication. Students have the opportunity to use:


  • A television studio, editing suites, state-of-the-art cameras, and digital editing equipment
  • Student facilities for The Anchor and radio station 89.9 WTHS
  • Speech labs for reviewing public presentations

  • An auditorium for presentations as well as film analysis


  • A computer lab for journalism, writing, and research
  • Student/faculty research facilities for interviewing, studying small group processes, and learning conflict mediation
