102 Modern Novice: an introduction to
an education in body movement through dance principles and techniques designed
to teach an understanding of rhythm, release, and presentation of basic
movement problems. The student will have the opportunity to kinesthetically
and intellectually learn through experience. One credit, Yetzke, Fall/Spring

120 Modern Dance I - Education in body movement through dance techniques designed to teach an understanding of rhythm and relaxation and a presentation of basic movement problems.

122 Modern Dance II-
A continuation of Modern I Beginning designed for the student
with at least one semester of modern. Purpose of this course
is to develop additional technique and basic principles.
One credit Guest Fall & Spring Semesters
125 Modern Dance III-
A continuation of beginning modern dance including improvisation
to stimulate the imagination and allow for individual exploration
of movement expression. Course may be repeated for credit.
One credit Farmer Fall & Spring Semesters
127 Modern Dance IV - A continuation
of Modern II Beginning, emphasis is placed on technique and repertory.
Course may be repeated for credit.
