The
Department of Economics, Management and Accounting (DEMA) offers a
unique
blend of theoretical, applied and practical training to prepare students
for a variety of career choices. The Department offers three majors
-- economics,
management and accounting. Many of our graduates obtain jobs in the business
world, while others go on to law school or graduate school, government
agencies
and non-profit organizations. Regardless of the majors students select, we
encourage students to think of their occupations as callings -- as
places where
they
can serve others. We take seriously Hope College's mission of providing
students with excellent academic programs, within the liberal arts
tradition,
and within the context of the historic Christian faith.
