A note from Josh: I am a senior at Hope College
pursuing a public accounting degree. This past summer, I took the
opportunity to engage in an internship at Deloitte LLC in Grand
Rapids. I believe this experience gave me a glimpse of the business
world, and only enhanced my excitement to begin my full time career
with Deloitte in September of 2010. My expectations relative to
the Baker Scholar program are tailored to test my strength of character,
understand and improve my leadership skills, and develop my relational
skills imperative to effective communication. The enhancement of
these qualities will hopefully facilitate a transformation into
a competent businessman well equipped to one day assume a leadership
role.
