A Note from Maria: I am a management major with emphasis in Economics at Hope College. This past summer I was a part of the entrepreneurship institute at Hope College. I spend the summer developing My MPO, an innovative budgeting tool. I am continuing to work on My MPO this fall. In January, I am heading to San Fransisco, California for a semester internship program. I am very thankful for the Baker Scholar Program. The Baker Scholar program last year taught me how to ask good questions and helped me realize my strengths and weaknesses. What I learned this summer, along with interning at Herman Miller and from the Baker Scholar program will serve me well in my internship in Spring of 2011. After graduation I plan to go into financial planning or consulting. I will also continue to work on developing entrepreneurial ideas. |
