Sara Yockey

Sara is from Farmington Hills, Michigan and is pursuing a degree in Business Management. Sara is involved with Hope's Student Activities Committee and Residential Life. She also volunteers with Young Life, mentoring Black River high school students. Sara will be serving the Bakers as Vice President next year and she is excited to continue to push the Bakers to increase their business acumen. She is thrilled to be a Baker because the program presents great opportunities to learn from business leaders and to be shaped professionally and personally. Sara interned with the Grand Rapids Symphony as their Development Intern in the fall of 2013. She also works on campus in the Career Development Center as a Career Advisor, in the Department of Economics, Management, and Accounting as a Receptionist, and as a tour guide for visiting students. During the summer of 2014, Sara will be interning with Haworth on their Architecture & Design team. Currently, Sara is interested in pursuing a career in the furniture industry and, if given the opportunity, she would love to work abroad.
