MentorTony Muiderman
Tony joined Hope College in 1977 after a 25 year career in the corporate world. In 1978 He was assigned the Baker Scholar faculty advisory role. His association with the Baker program, and each Baker Scholar in particular, has been the highlight of his tenure at Hope. He retired from Hope in the year 2000. He was asked to continue working with the Bakers until another faculty person would be available to devote their energies to the program over and above their many other teaching, research and faculty duties and obligations. Tony is also very pleased to still be involved. And, Jim's involvement during the past few years has been an asset to the Baker Program. Most of His education was gained at the University of Michigan, following military service in the U. S. Navy. At Hope, He taught a broad variety of courses and seminars in the management/ business areas.
