Mackinac
Center for Public Policy: The
Mackinac Center for Public Policy is dedicated to improving the quality
of life for citizens of Michigan. The center provides research about
state issues to concerned policy makers, scholars, business people and
the media. The Mackinac Center Web site offers two particularly helpful
services: An online debate coach available to high school students and
an economist available to answer visitor’s questions.

MichiganVotes.org:
MichiganVotes.org gives users instant access to concise, plain language
and objective descriptions of every single bill, amendment, and vote that
takes place in the Michigan legislature. Unlike any other bill tracking
utility, MichiganVotes.org is unique because all legislative actions are
described. It is searchable by legislator, keyword, and almost 100 subject
categories, so users can create their own custom "voting record guide."
