Professor VanderVeen joined the
Hope College faculty in 2004, although his teaching career
began in 1989 at Calvin College. Prior to teaching, Professor
VanderVeen was a stockbroker. In August 2007, he took the role
of director of the Center for Faithful Leadership at Hope.
He teaches various project-based leadership courses and serves
students in the center's entrepreneurship mentoring and student
consulting programs. Additionally, he teaches a marketing course
for DEMA.
