All students
who are seeking a degree in education are encouraged
to join any of the following levels of membership:
Hope College Student
Chapter
Cost: $10 per year
Includes:
-A membership to the Hope College ASCD
-The opportunity for professional development and growth on campus and in the
local community
-A certificate of acknowledgement for workshops attended
Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development National Membership
Cost: $27 per year
Includes:
-Personalized mailings of Educational Leadership, an educational journal with
thought provoking articles, and Education Update, a published magazine containing
the newest resources and services that are being offered by ASCD
-Member prices on ASCD resources and meetings
-ASCD Online Resources with members-only access
Students may join as a full member and enjoy the benefits of both local
ASCD and National ASCD membership for $35 per year.
However, all workshops and ASCD sponsored events are open to non-members
and members alike. We hope you will take part in all of these opportunities!

Our advisor, Professor Wendy Colsen, as well as many other education department

Paper applications can be picked up during ASCD sponsored events, or in
