Hope College Student Chapter CEC
OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES  
PRESIDENT:
  • Leads and organizes weekly meetings
  • Delegates responsibilities
  • Collaborates with officers

VICE PRESIDENT:

  • Supports President
  • Helps coordinate activities
  • Shares responsibility in running meetings

SECRETARY:

  • CEC E-mail
  • Updates address book
  • Sends out reminder e-mails and informative e-mails
  • Minutes
  • Takes notes at meetings and organizes them in a binder
  • E-mails minutes to members

TREASURER:

  • Keeps track of CEC account/budget information
  • Expenditures
  • Reimbursements/receipts
  • Delegates pop can return

PUBLICITY:

  • Participates/organizes SCEC booth at Hope Activities Fair (start of school each fall)
  • Distributes fliers announcing upcoming activities, etc.
  • Helps maintain and update SCEC website

MEMBERSHIP:

  • Keeps track of attendance at weekly meetings and events
  • In charge of member certificates each spring
  • Works with Publicity team to promote SCEC membership

CONTACTS:

  • In charge of contacting local group homes and other local organizations
  • May help with contacting professionals for SCEC events (panels, Reverse Field Trips, etc.)
