Ed 280-Literacy I
Directions for Submitting an Assignment
(specifically the Group Lesson Plan)

1. Sign in to your account (http://chalkandwire.com/hope/)

2. Click on eportfolio

3. Put your File on Chalk and Wire

·Select Edit for the portfolio where you want to work

· Go to Artifact Library

· Select Browse and locate where your group lesson plan is saved.  After the correct file is chosen, Deposit File

·Fill in an appropriate name for your file.  Save as Other . Click on Register

· Go to the top of the screen and click return

· Select Publish so that that portfolio can be shared (make sure that you click on the link to open it in a new window- this is what actually does the publishing)

4. Put your file in the appropriate place in your portfolio

·From the first window, select Edit

·From the Table of Contents, click on Group Lesson Plan

·Go into EDIT Artifact Subsection: 280-Group Lesson Plan

·Go to the Pull down menu and select the correct file.  (Make sure that a small icon of your file shows up)

5. Submit your assignment

·Select Return

·Back at the main screen, click on Assess

·Verify to make sure that it is the correct portfolio, then Submit Portfolio

·Click the box for the right area where your assignment is located (under the heading Group Lesson Plan)

·Click OK at the bottom of the page

· If this if your first entry, complete the demographic information (if this isn’t your first time, this screen will be skipped)

·Choose the professor Tony Donk and hit OK

Congratulations, you’ve submitted your assignment!
