Directions for Submitting an Assignment

(Specifically the Individual Direct Instruction Lesson Plan)

1. Sign in to your account (https://chalkandwire.com/hope/)

2. Click on eportfolio

3. Put your File on Chalk and Wire

· Select Edit for the portfolio where you want to work

· Go to Artifact Library

· Select Browse and locate where your lesson plan is saved. After the correct file is chosen, Deposit File

· Fill in an appropriate name for your file. Save as Other. Click on Register

· Go to the top of the screen and click return

· Select Edit on your Curriculum and Methods Portfolio

· Select Direct Lesson Plan

· Select Publish so that that portfolio can be saved (make sure that you click on the link to open it in a new window- this is what actually does the publishing)

5. Submit your assignment

· Select Return

· Back at the main screen, click on Assess

· Verify to make sure that it is the correct portfolio, then Submit Portfolio

· Click the box for the right area where your assignment is located (Individual Direct Lesson Plan)

· Click OK at the bottom of the page

· If this if your first entry, complete the demographic information (if this isn’t your first time, this screen will be skipped)

· Choose the professor Linda Jordan and hit OK
