ED 360 – Secondary Principles
1. Log in to your Chalk and Wire account.
2. Click “Enter” next to ePortfolio.
3. On the right hand side of the page under “Create a New Portfolio click on “Create.”
4. Under “Choose an official standard categories that you are required to use for your portfolio choose "(Spring, 2007) ED 360 – Secondary Principles.”
5. Click “Continue.”
6. Choose a graphic theme for your portfolio by clicking on the circle to the right of the graphic.
7. From here you are able to access your portfolio.
Adding Assignments/Depositing Into Artifact Library
1. Log in to your Chalk and Wire account.
2. Click “Enter” next to ePortfolio.
3. You will then need to deposit your assignments into your Artifact Library. Click “Artifact Library” at the top of the page.
4. Under the heading “Deposit it into ePortfolio Artifact Repository,” Click “Browse.”
5. Locate your file, and click “Open.”
6. Click “Deposit File”
7. Next to “Title,” give your document a name (ex. Professional Practices Paper).
8. Click “Register.”
9. Scroll up to the top of the page, and click “Return.”
10. Next to the name of your portfolio, click “Edit.”
11. Choose the assignment you want to edit by clicking on the name of the assignment (ex. Individual Lesson Plan).
12. Under “Artifacts” choose your assignment from the drop down box.
13. At the top of the page, click “Publish.”
14. The top of the screen will read, “You have published your portfolio.” Click on the link at the bottom of the page and make sure your assignment has been added.
To Assess You Portfolio
1. Log in to your Chalk and Wire account.
2. Click “Enter” next to ePortfolio.
3. Next to the name of your portfolio, click “Assess.”
4. Under “Select the Assessment Group,” click “Education.”
5. Click “Submit Portfolio,” on the bottom of the page.
6. Check the area(s) of your portfolio you want your professor to assess and click “OK.”
7. If this is your first entry, you will be asked to complete the demographic information.
8. Click on the box next to your professor’s name, and click “Submit for Assessment.”
9. A page will come up saying that your submission has been processed.
