Directions for resizing pictures to add to your portfolio – ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

1. Click ‘Start’ and ‘Programs’ and ‘Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1’
2. Click ‘File’ and ‘Open’
3. Locate your picture, click on it, and click ‘Open’
4. On the menu bar select ‘Image’ and ‘Image Size’
5. Type in your ideal width or height. (Note: The drop-down menus next to these allow you to adjust by percentage or pixels. We suggest that if you choose pixels, you remain under 355 pixels.)
6. Click ‘OK’
7. On the menu bar go to ‘File’ and ‘Save As’
8. Type in your file name, and make sure that the format is JPEG. Select location to save in. Then click ‘Save’
9. A JPEG Options box appears. Under Image Options, select Medium or Low quality. Click ‘OK’
