Directions for Saving Your E-Portfolio onto a CD

1. Login to www.Chalkandwire.com/hope
2. Enter ePortfolio
3. For the desired portfolio click the share button
4. Now click the fourth option, “make a copy”
5. If you click on the link that says “Download zip archive” and a download box should open.
6. Save the folder to your desktop.
7. The folder is compressed (or zipped) and needs to be uncompressed to work. Right click on the folder and select ‘extract all’. This will open the extraction wizard.
8. Go through the menus by pressing the next button and you will have created the same folder except it is not zipped. You can now burn this to a cd.
9. To burn a CD: Open up my computer. Insert a blank CD-R. Double click on the CD icon once the computer has recognized your blank disk. Drag the folder with your portfolio from your desktop into the CD folder. There should be an option on the left of the window that says “burn these files to a CD”. After using the cd burning wizard you should have your very own, permanent copy of your portfolio!
10. Usually by clicking the first file in your folder your homepage will popup. All your artifacts should be there, from pictures, to videos, to links, to assignments.
