Margie and I shared the diagram on gathering and storing information for an electronic portfolio.
The team shared information from Literacy I and the Secondary Block that would be good to include in the electronic portfolio template. Suggestions from Literacy I included lesson plans, lab logs, and the children’s book. Direct instruction lessons were recommended for the Secondary Block. It was suggested that the Microsoft Word document map be the model to use.

learn more about using DVDs as a means to store and showcase
information gathered. A date was not

Discussion on using the network to save work resulted in; Sarah Klooster will ask Emily Scott to join our group and to activate her account. Erin McNary will ask Becky Riechel to share her account and to activate it. Naomi Bertram will invite Susana Rodriguez to join the group and activate her account. At our next meeting we will meet in a computer lab to work on expanding the portfolio created in Ed. 225 with artifacts from Literacy I and the Secondary Block. Since there were scheduling conflicts we have two dates to do this.

We discussed the possibility of sharing our work with the Education Department faculty at some point in the semester.
