It is such a pleasure to be involved coordinating student teachers at Hope. The students energize me. They demonstrate great enthusiasm for teaching and love of children. The Hope faculty prepares them well.

I am a graduate of Western Michigan University for both my BS and MA. I taught most of my thirty-six year career in Holland Public Schools from Headstart to fifth grade. I have a daughter who is a teacher. You will find me Monday nights at the Holland Area Arts Council working in Art for All, a class for handicapped adults. I enjoy the company of my dog Lucy on daily walks.
