PERSONAL
I enjoyed many years teaching in elementary and middle schools in New York
City and Los Angeles. I served as a Teacher Specialist in staff development
for the New York City Teacher Centers Consortium--a joint venture with the
NYC Board of Education, the United Federation of Teachers, and institutes of
higher learning in New York. Prior to teaching at Hope, I taught at Xavier
University in Cincinnati, OH and The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
My
primary interest as a teacher educator is to work with beginning
teachers who want to teach in inner-city environments.
