My first five years at Hope College have seen me supervising student teachers and occasionally teaching courses in the Education Department. I am retired fro West Ottawa Public Schools where I taught social studies and English for over 27 years. In addition, I am a Teacher Consultant with the Michigan Geographic Alliance and a Teacher Trainer for Population Connection. My husband and oldest son are also educators and my youngest son is a college student.
