Message from Engineering

John Krupczak Jr.Engineers are involved on a daily basis in service to others, creating innovations to solve the urgent problems of the day, and provide for the needs of humanity. Engineers find themselves in a diversity of work environments and job descriptions: from established multinational corporations to small start-up companies, from hands-on problem solving in the field, to the development of sophisticated computerized designs. Successful engineering must flexibly blend creativity, analytical ability, communication skills, and team work.

To meet these challenges, our ABET accredited BS engineering degree emphasizes thorough coursework in engineering fundamentals, rigorous study of science and mathematics, a broad general education in the humanities and social sciences, and an attention to individual needs and interests.

Professor and Chair of Engineering
