Mechanical Vibrations
Course Description
Free and forced response of single and multiple degree of freedom lumped mass systems, and of continuous bodies. Students learn analytical and numerical methods for solving vibration problems. Class covers applications to the vibrations of mechanical systems and structures, earthquake response of structures.
