The Rainmaker

Adam Henkel

The Rainmaker takes the current product available for shower heads and pushes it to a new level, obtaining an extremely improved condition while bathing. Instead of using one output for use, The Rainmaker diverts the water into three different directions allowing the output area to be much larger both vertically and horizontally. Not only does each nozzle (output) alone provide I foot of horizontal coverage area, but the system is set up in such a manner to allow for 4 feet of horizontal coverage area by diverting the water into these various directions. Each output nozzle provides 2.3 GPM at approximately 60 psi. Both of these values may also be controlled by the user by means of a rotational nozzle as well as varied output hole sizes. By utilizing these nozzles, all of the functional requirements are fulfilled.

The product can be made of a wide variety of materials dependent on the aestethics desired. The material of choice in this design is PVC due to its easy fabrication, cost, and performance. Also, the PVC can be painted any color to fit any personal aesthetic characteristics. All pipe connections are air tight, allowing for no leaks and a high quality flow. One step is needed for attachment for the consumer and takes very little time or effort. The output nozzles are interchangeable allowing for easy maintenance and/or repair, although none are expected. The entire device is lightweight and can be adapted to any shower system created. The Rainmaker is truly the most functional device on the market for its purposes and is financially extremely competitive.
