Design Laboratory

This laboratory has 1200 square feet of space reserved for use by students working on projects for engineering design classes. The room contains sufficient work surfaces and storage space to allow all design students to work on their individual projects simultaneously. During the capstone design course, movable partitions permit the room to be reconfigured to provide work areas for student design teams. The design laboratory contains a variety of hand tools, electronics equipment, and personal computers. The laboratory is located next to the Mechanical and Electronics Shop to facilitate use of the shop equipment by engineering students in fabrication of design projects.

Used in the following courses:
ENGS 100 - Introduction to Engineering
ENGS 451 - Introduction to Design
ENGS 452 - Engineering Design
