The Engineering Department has a long tradition of involving undergraduate
students in the research programs of the faculty. We are very proud of
the significant scientific contributions the students make to the projects.
Engineering students have also participated in research projects in other
departments at Hope College, including Physics, Chemistry, Geology & Environmental
Science, and Biology, and at external research institutions such as major
universities and national laboratories.
In recent years, 10 to 20 students typically
have been involved in research each summer. Follow the links below
