Statement of Purpose for this project:

This site is designed to help students in English 270 at Hope College. This site should
provide useful links, insight into readings, study help for exams, and ideas to help with
question papers. Basically, if you're taking this class this site was made to help. Enjoy
your visit to the site and e-mail us with any feedback you have.

Goals
To provide students with the following:
1. Clearer understanding of texts
2. Links to online resources
3. Interesting and useful background information
4. Give students a leg up in class discussion
5. Help on classroom assignments and exams

To achieve these goals this site has individual webpages for the material covered in
each class. Webpages include links to helpful external resources, pieces from our own
work in the class, and other material as available.
