Senior Seminar—Four Credits

The senior seminar is a capstone to the student’s liberal arts experience. As students prepare to graduate from Hope they explicitly confront questions of value and belief and have the opportunity to reflect on how Christianity can inform a philosophy for living. Senior Seminars deliberately raise fundamental questions of human values and help students reflect about how their choices matter to their own future and to their service to others. All students write a life view paper, a personal and disciplined articulation of their own views about meaning, purpose and values. Topics vary depending on the instructor. For more information consult the Senior Seminar director, Prof. Tyler.
