Skills of Learning

Hope College students will demonstrate college-level proficiency in:

  • critical thinking
  • mathematical thinking
  • reading, listening, and viewing with understanding, sensitivity, and critical acumen
  • use of computer technology and library research facilities
  • written and oral communication

 

Habits of Learning

Hope College students will be encouraged and taught to develop an approach to learning in the tradition of the liberal arts, emphasizing:
