Professor Vicki Lynn-Holmes joined Hope College in the Fall of 2009. Her position was created through the HHMI grant for faculty development. She will work collaboratively with faculty in the science division and the Education department to design and deliver inquiry-based, cutting edge science or mathematics methods courses to prepare future teachers in these areas.

HHMI Diversity Task Force Board

The HHMI program at Hope is supporting an Initiative for Diversity in Science whose goal is to increase the number of scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and nurses from groups typically underrepresented in these fields. Thus, we formed an advisory board for the initiative which is called HHMI DIVERSITY TASK FORCE BOARD. The Board meets one a month during the academic year to provide guidance, support and direction to the diversity initiative and the initiative’s leaders. The Board consists of:
