History Majors and Minors
Students desiring
to major in History have two options.
- The traditional

for a variety of career options. It is
the major a student should choose if he/she is interested in going to

- The second
major is for students who want to teach on the secondary
level. This major was designed in cooperation with Hope's
Education Department to be certain that students will meet
all requirements of the Michigan Department of Education
for teacher certification. Students interested in this major
should check with the Education Department for full information.
