Anna Cook (Hope '05), in Scotland
Hope student Anna Cook (2005), at Dunnotter Castle, Scotland, while studying at the University of Aberdeen in 2003-2004.

Are you curious about the world around you? Do you like films like Braveheart , Saving Private Ryan, King Arthur or Her Majesty, Mrs. Brown? Did you read The DaVinci Code? Are you into politics, travel, or languages? Do you want a career in the global society of the twenty-first century? A history major might be for you. Students who are interested in learning about history, in improving their analytical and written skills, and in increasing their understanding of the world are welcome in the history department, whether as majors, minors or simply interested participants in a few classes. Please feel free to contact the History Department, any of the history faculty, or the admissions office for more information. If you plan a visit to Holland, stop by and see us. We would be pleased to meet you and to talk about your interests.
