ATHLETIC TRAINING INFORMATION FOR VISITING TEAMS

The following services will be provided by the Hope College athletic training program:

1) Certified athletic trainer (ATC) and athletic training students at all contests.

a. ATC staff on call for golf and tennis events 2) Team physician at all home varsity and junior varsity football games. In
attendance or on call for all other contests.

3) Emergency supplies available at all contests.

4) Water, cups, and ice bags in locker room or competition area.

5) Taping and pre-competition preparation can be performed as needed. Please provide supplies for any taping or other preventative measures you expect us to
provide. Therapeutic treatments will only be given with written letter from your
institution’s ATC or physician outlining the specific instructions and parameters
for the treatment.

The Hope College athletic training rooms are located in the Devos Fieldhouse, Dow Center, and Lugers Fieldhouse. Each of these facilities is equipped with a variety of therapeutic modalities and treatment/exam areas. Please refer to event information for information regarding which athletic training room to use for your sport.
