The Distinguished Lecture Series in Sports Medicine

2009—2010


DLSSM OBJECTIVES

* Improve knowledge, understanding, and management of common dermatological conditions found in athletic populations.


* Improve the understanding and knowledge relating to the management of neuropathic gait.


* Improve the ability of sports health care practitioners to recognize and manage sports related elbow injuries


* Improve the understanding of factors relating to patello-femoral pain syndrome and enhance knowledge of strategies for evaluation and treatment.

Directions to Maas Center – Hope College

(All lectures will be held at Maas Center, 264 Columbia)


The Maas Center is located at 11th Street and Columbia Avenue on the campus of Hope College in Holland, Michigan. When traveling on I-196, exit 52 for Adams/16th Street should be used and taken west toward the city of Holland. If traveling on US—31 the 16th Street exit should be used as well. Continue west on 16th street and take a right turn (north) on Columbia until you reach 11th Street. The Maas Center will be on the left (west) side of the street. Street and lot parking is available near the Maas Center.
