Our Beliefs
We believe that the work of the Department of Kinesiology should be a visible and authentic Christian witness that faculty and staff are called to minister to each other and to our students, and that this is best accomplished in an atmosphere of collegiality and mutual respect.
We believe that faculty, staff, and coaches by modeling the highest values of their professions, are critical in helping our students develop habits of thought and conduct consistent with the exercise of responsible citizenship and their chosen vocations.
We believe that our mission can best be accomplished when our unique talents are shared freely, employed in concert with others, and applied with passion and enthusiasm.
We believe that only by holding ourselves, each other, and our students to high standards will we be able to develop and sustain academic and athletic programs noted for their excellence. |
