Course Description:

Chinese III - Intermediate Chinese - A continuation of Chinese II.

Further study of basic Chinese grammar and continued study of the Chinese writing system, with equal emphasis on speaking and reading. In this course, writing simple essays in Chinese will also be introduced. This course helps students to develop more advanced linguistic skills, to expand on vocabulary and expressions appropriate to different occasions, and to systematically review previously studied materials. The textbook used for the class is Integrated Chinese Level One Part II. Class meets two evenings per week.
