Brief Biography

John T. Quinn, associate professor of Classics, is interested in the translation and performance of ancient texts -- the latter often involving half-suspecting students. Since he received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, it's no wonder that he is a very Texan sort of Irishman. Somehow, being born & growing up in Chicago didn't prevent that.
