ART ROBSON of Beloit College has uploaded a web-based commentary on Euripides' Electra at http://beloit.edu/~robsona/electra/main.html. The screen is divided into three parts: running vocabulary lists, the Greek text, and notes (both grammatical & literary). The site impressed the folks at Hope College so much that it will be the "text" for their course in the Electra in spring 2003.

The department at Beloit College has also been busy assembling several extensive "virtual art museums" on such topics as Greek Civilization, the Caesars, Mythology, the Trojan War, Sappho, the Gospel of Mark, and Medieval Manuscripts. Get in touch with KOSTA HADAVAS (hadavasc@beloit.edu) for how to access the images as a guest.

The Chair of the CAMWS Committee for the Promotion of Latin, TOM SIENKEWICZ (Monmouth), is happy to report that the Committee now has its own URL: http://www.camwscpl.org.

Aulus Gellius is not commonly read by our Latin students. But classicists interested in the study of women & gender are encouraged to consult the translations of relevant chapters of Gellius which Wooster's NEIL BERNSTEIN has been contributing -- and with more yet to come! -- to Diotima, http://www.stoa.org/diotima/anthology/aulgell.shtml.

While surfing Diotima, you also might want to check out JOHN QUINN's (Hope) translations of texts concerning the Emperor Domitian's favorite eunuch, Earinus: http://www.stoa.org/diotima/anthology/earinus.shtml .
