Nothing to report for this turn. The sounds of combat have abated to the Northwest. Your infantry is well-protected by 4BCC tanks.
You use your mortars against Germans pressing you in 8.24 and withdraw without pursuit. You have a line extending from 7.22 to 4.27. Not east-west like you want, but they're getting there.
You hear the scream of a Stuka to the north, with sounds of explosions. A few planes seem to be flying about the area.
You have restored order to your troops, and are not being pressed.

Nothing new to report. Your units are pretty much in position. You put out some outposts for advanced warning. Nothing but the birds chirping, etc.
Still working on your orders.
No news from 4BCC and 1-2/205. 6 GRDI has nothing new to report.
3/205 has successfully disengaged, and the sharp firefight seems over for the moment, and the Germans did not pursue.
A few planes are flying about, but you're not sure who's.
Your spotter sees a significant German force advancing on Stonne down the main highway. An infantry platoon is in 31.16 with a StgIII, and you see 2 more tanks, one in 32.17 and one in 29.18. Your spotters are beginning to feel nervous...
The same area was smoked again as was smoked last turn, and more Germans seem to have crossed into the woods to the east of Stonne.
Your wing A advances into the open towards Stonne, as they encounter absolutely no resistance. You are using bounding overwatch. One unit is in 31.16, the others are in the woods supporting and will advance next turn. Each stack has an inf, MG and StgIII.
Wing B is proceeding to the road against no resistance. Inside 1/2 hr. they will have accomplished the sweep of the woods, assuming no resistance...
You have not used any air or artillery, as none was needed.
Things are going excellently. Your units should be in their jump-off positions in about 1/2 hr. 4-II-8 tanks are all over the place, which is a great encouragement to your troops.
9th Co. begins a cautious advance towards the orchard. No resistance is encountered, though a platoon is hit by air as it moved towards the orchard (10.29). Yet more casualties reported. You pull at your hair in frustration. One pl. holds in 7.30, the other advanced to 8.28. This was after the orchard was pounded by two German planes and your IGs. No Frenchies detected - they seem to have withdrawn.
10th Co. You don't need to encourage your men to hold up. The French also break contact, and the woods are quiet again. Your unit in 8.24 took mortar fire before withdrawing, but no casualties reported.
11th Co. is marching as fast as they can. Lead unit in 9.20, the rest in column behind them.
Your morale is still fairly shakey for the whole battalion.
No sign of French vehicles.
I/GD, II/GD and II-8 report progress according to plan. La Besace is apparently clear of French. III/GD has broken contact with the French and is attempting to cut off their retreat to the south. Stu.Pio. is holding.
No new intelligence reported.
