THE FRENCH MINOR COURSE SEQUENCE
I. TWO WAYS TO COMPLETE A FRENCH MINOR IN TWO YEARS
WITH A SUMMER PROGRAM IN FRANCE:
A. Take:
- French III (201)
- French IV (202)
- One 300-level class on campus
- Two courses in Paris or Arles for 6 credits
in a 6 week May-June program. One of the two courses is an Arts Core
Class and you receive credit for both
the French minor and the core class.
- A 2 credit independent study in Paris
or Arles. Register for French 280 before leaving and ask a French
Professor to direct the study.
B. Take:
- French III (201)
- French IV (202)
- Two 300-level classes on campus. One 300-level conversation
class is offered every May term on campus.
- Two courses in Paris or Arles for
6 credits in a 6 week May-June program. One of the two courses
is an Arts Core Class. You receive
credit for
both the French minor and the core class.
II. COMPLETE A FRENCH MINOR ON CAMPUS IN TWO YEARS:
Take:
- French III (201)
- French IV (202)
- Three 300-level classes. One 300-level conversation
class is offered every May Term on campus.
Your French professor will help you map out the courses for the next
